Review
PureSync is a file synchronization tool for Windows computers. The application is really simple, but it also has several features that make it a must-try. At the core of the application are the sync jobs. Those allow you to select a folder and establish how to sync it with another folder on the same hard drive or on a separate, external drive. Each sync job has its own settings that may or may not be the same as the global settings. For example, you can add more than one job and those will use different folders, but each one of them may do things differently. Job 1 may call for an automatic sync of its folder at a particular time (scheduler) and Job 2 might just be a one-time process. The bottom line is that you can add several jobs and you are given a lot of freedom on how to run each of them. There is no limit of jobs that can be added and they will be listed on the top right of your window for easy access. Puresync allows you to carry out syncing to a FTP server, but I could not get it to work. I am taking it that you need a special FTP server application for it to work. In short, PureSync is a simple application that can help you maintain carbon copies of your folders, and it can customized to do it in different ways. |
